Clare Pama is a CPA, Chartered Professional Accountant and CMA, Certified Management Accountant. Clare has been working as a senior finance professional for over 20 years and has held various positions including Chief Financial Officer, Regional Controller, and Financial Controller. She has experience in a wide variety of industries including online e-learning, high-tech, transportation, charity and not-for-profit, hospitality, residential and commercial property management, commercial real estate, and home building.
She has reported to finance committees, audit committees as well as directly to the Board of Directors. Clare’s experience includes all levels of financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders, consolidations, internal and external audit, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, variance and sensitivity analysis. She has direct experience in project management, internal controls, policies and procedures, process improvement, centralization, as well as change management. Her professional experience has gone beyond accounting to include various aspects of human resources, administration and leadership. She has managed and coached both teams and individuals, been involved in communication, IT and Cross Functional Team Building.
Clare is currently a board member for the Canada Nepal Geomatics Advancement Foundation Inc. (CNGAF) a registered charity organization, serving as Director and Treasurer. CNGAF provides university scholarships to students in Nepal studying and doing research in the scientific field of Geomatics.
Clare is an avid international traveler and to date has visited over 35 countries. She enjoys volunteering for charity and not-for-profit boards, reading, boating, fishing, camping and planning her next travel adventure.
