Their study revealed an interesting finding – women-led companies averaged ten percent greater revenue than the men-founded companies. And female founders achieved this while raising less than half, on average, of what the men raised.

Most Canadians would be surprised to know that one of Canada’s most notorious jails in Iqaluit. It has been well documented that conditions are deplorable and last week these conditions contributed to a riot at the Baffin Correctional Centre, a story that was not widely covered in the mainstream news across Canada. Due to the riot, many inmates will have to be moved to institutions outside of Nunavut. Staff at the Baffin Correction Centre anticipate that there will be more rioting until a new correctional facility is built which is years away.
