Richard MacNeill is a Chartered Professional Accountant (FCPA), Certified Management Accountant (FCMA), and Certified Management Consultant (CMC). Richard is also a graduate of the British Columbia Institute of Technology, holding a diploma in Computer Programming and Systems Technology.
Richard’s areas of professional interest include financial management and information technology, with a focus on the not-for-profit and charity sectors.
Before founding OTUS Group, Richard served in senior management roles with Teldon International Corporation and with TELUS Corporation, and has more than twenty-five years of experience in finance and administration. He also has experience in systems and information technology and leverages his combined financial and IT expertise in helping clients to optimize their financial management systems and operations. Richard enjoys working with clients to help them streamline their operations and improve their bottom line.
He is an active volunteer and fundraiser for a number of charitable causes in his local community. As a Member and Fellow of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada, Richard currently serves as a committee member of the Ottawa CPA Ontario Association, helping to organize professional development events for local CPA members. Outside of work, Richard enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, and training for obstacle races.
