He has accumulated a wealth of real world experience over the last thirty-five years, providing value-added advice in a number of areas including business transformation and process design, internal control certification, financial analysis, program evaluation and audit, strategic planning and information technology. He has focused mainly on the Internal Control area in recent years.
He has designed and delivered several training seminars including JAD – Consensus Management. He has presented this seminar several times in Canada and the United States and has also applied these techniques as a JAD facilitator for several clients in both the public and private sectors.
Prior to consulting, Malcolm successfully managed a large Network TV News operation and also worked as both an external auditor for a large public accounting firm and an internal auditor for a large Crown Corporation.
Malcolm is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA-CA) and graduated from Carleton University with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce. He enjoys officiating high school and community football and has been a member of the executive of the Eastern Ontario Tackle Football Officials Association for the past several years.
