Jeffrey Phillips joined OTUS Group in August 2017 as an Advisor focused on business development activities in both Ottawa, Ontario and Vancouver, British Columbia. Jeff is an independent consultant with over seven years’ experience in the public and private sectors advising clients on complex policy issues related to international trade and risk management. He is the Managing Director of Dawson Strategic, an Ottawa-based research consulting company specializing in insights on international trade. Prior to joining Dawson Strategic, Jeff worked at Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) for four years, first as a Policy Analyst in the Energy Sector and later as Advisor to the Associate Deputy Minister.
Jeff is passionate about entrepreneurship and building a more sustainable world. He volunteers with Carleton University as an Alumni Mentor, Kind Village as an Advisor, and CPAWS Ottawa Valley as a member of the Outreach Committee. Jeffrey holds an M.A. Political Science from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Public Affairs and Policy Management from the Arthur Kroeger College at Carleton University.
