For over thirteen years, Patricia has been knowledgeably providing financial management services to small businesses in both the retail and the not-for-profit sectors. For three years she was also part of the auditing team of an accounting firm engaged in providing services to small NGOs and charities.
Patricia has a well-developed understanding of the essential role good financial management has in reliable reporting and effective business planning, and she knows well that proper internal control procedures need to be in place for the benefit of all stakeholders.
Her interest in the financial aspect of running a business was first sparked while volunteering on the finance committee for a local food cooperative and she subsequently completed training at Algonquin College.
