Bill Kuurstra has been working in the not-for-profit sector since obtaining a Masters Degree from Calvin Theological Seminary in 1983. With close to 25 years of experience, he understands the leadership and management issues unique to not-for-profit organizations. He appreciates the important role volunteers play in any organization and is aware of the challenges that come with the necessity of fundraising.

A firm believer in life-long learning, Bill obtained a Certificate of Applied Management from Algonquin College. Presently, he is working towards a Certified Management Consultant designation with CMC-Canada.  Since joining OTUS Group in 2005, Bill has served many not-for-profit organizations to strengthen their financial management infrastructure.
