Allan Smith is a Chartered Accountant and a Certified Financial Planner with over twenty five years of leadership and management expertise. A former CEO and Chief Operating Officer, he is now leveraging his experience in a variety of industries including investment management, retail food and public accounting. Recent experiences include taking a firm from a start-up to full operation, through a merger and corporate integration, followed by an IPO and subsequent record operating results. He has served as both a CEO and as a director of a TSX listed publicly traded company. His professional areas of expertise include financial and strategic planning, managing a geographically dispersed sales force, developing market segmentation strategies, succession planning and designing and implementing major corporate infrastructure growth projects. Allan holds an MBA from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University.
